Cisco Lab Safe Promotion
NetMasterClass, a Worldwide Leader in CCIE R&S Training, is participating in the "Cisco Lab Safe Promotion"!
CCIE is a very prestigious certification, arguably the most prestigious vendor certification in the computer industry. And its reputation more than matches its difficulty. A student can take anywhere between 6 months to 24 months to fully prepare for his or her CCIE Lab Exam, and even then there are no guarantees. With the Cisco Lab Safe Program, students who prove themselves to be truly strong CCIE candidates, get a 2nd chance at taking the CCIE Lab at no charge should they not pass on their first attempt! This is a fantastic peace of mind for all those students who should have passed the Lab in their first attempt, but fell short due to either poor time management, falling under pressure or simply becoming too nervous during the Lab.
This way, you will not have to spend another $1400 on another attempt!
In order to qualify through an ILT Class, a student must meet the following requirements:
- Attend a class or perform standalone labs. In other words do one of the following:
- Purchase by June 30, 2011 and attend any Cisco 360 ILT Class by December 31, 2011.
- Purchase and take four Cisco 360 graded assessments with a score of at least 80 by June 30, 2011.
- Receive a Cisco 360 instructor's or mentor's recommendation to go on forth and attempt the actual CCIE Lab Exam.
Cisco Lab Safe Promotion expires on June 30, 2011. Full program rules and details are found at https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/docs/DOC-5857.
Exercise Workbook
Expertise can only be attained through constant on-going practice. The Exercise Workbook provides a series of 35 challenging hands-on practice labs (upgraded to the v4.0 format) to allow learners to develop a solid level of expertise. Once you have attained a basic understanding of internetworking technologies, you need to re-enforce and enhance your understanding by performing multiple hands-on practice labs that are comprised of challenging expert level tasks. The labs can be downloaded and printed.
Cisco 360 Mentor Guide is included as a tool in the Exercise Workbook. A user can access a web-based interface and enter in an IOS show command as if they were on an actual rack of routers. This will allow each student to compare the results of their final configuration with the output generated by the Cisco 360 Mentor Guide and quickly search the configurations for the lab.
In the v4.0 format, some labs contain single multi-topic configuration scenario, others are divided into two parts: a six hour configuration section and a separate two hour troubleshooting section.
Note: All labs in the Exercise Workbook and Lessons are done on your equipment.
Assessment Labs
The Assessment Labs allow you to perform the measurement of progress you are making. Once you have taken a series of Assessment Labs, you will establish a trend of performance. Using the Cisco 360 tracking and trending tools, you can identify what your strengths and weaknesses are in a series of Assessment Labs.
The CCIE preparation process is a multi-stage endeavor. As you perform each of the learning activities in this program and complete each stage of learning, you want to know what degree of progress you are making. Not only to the Graded Assessment Labs provide you with a measurement of your progress, furthermore, the Assessment Labs allow you to maximize your learning experience with each assessment you perform by providing detailed score reports that are linked to detailed answer keys and access to the interactive Mentor Guide. When the interactive Mentor Guide is applied to Graded Assessment Labs, you are able to compare the IOS output of your final configuration with the master final configuration as if you were still logged on to a set of routers and switches!
Note: The Assessment Labs are done on Cisco Provided equipment.

Reference Library
The Reference Library is designed to provide supplemental resources to a learners study effort. While a range of topics are covered in the Reference Library, a consistent presentation approach is used that involves options analysis and issue spotting. To further support this, the Reference Library is heavily populated with Decision Trees (Options Analysis Diagrams).
Library contains nearly 2000 pages of on-line content and is presented in a ten step roadmap format that helps guide the student through a structured learning approach.
Lessons-on-Demand
One of the required steps in developing expertise in internetworking technologies is developing a thorough understanding of each technology. The Video presentations contained in the Lessons provide an effective and flexible method to attain a solid understanding.
Within each group of VoDs, the average VoD length is 15 minutes. Each Block of VoDs is supplemented with a "Spot-the-Issues" quiz to re-enforce a learners's understanding of the topics presented. Finally, hands-on technology-focused exercises are also supplied with each Lesson to further re-enforce a learner's understanding of a specific technology from a hands-on perspective.

Equipment-Rental
You can add 50 sessions (5.5 hours per session) of rack rental by purchasing rack rental with your training package.
There is absolutely no substitute for logging hours of hands on practice when developing any form of expertise, especially CCIE level expertise. Therefore, all Cisco 360 students must have hands on practice. The majority of this practice will be performing the Cisco 360 Exercise Workbook labs, but you can also complete the targeted technology labs. This workbook contains 25 full-length eight hour labs. You can schedule your rack rental at times that are most convenient for you.
