Each VoD attempts to address a specific aspect or technology related to the general subject of IGP technologies deployed using the Cisco IOS. The VoD's are presented in a manner that applies the Cisco 360 Learning Program "options analysis" problem solving approach. This "options analysis" problem solving approach is often exhibited in the form of an options analysis decision tree diagram. Several of these decision trees are exhibited within this outline as part of the description of each of the video sessions contained within this series.

    This set of VoD's provides a set of opening moves strategies to help the student get to the Golden Moment. Each of the five VoD's builds upon the other. After viewing the entire set of VoD's in this Block, the student should be able to perform a consistent set of opening moves on any CCIE level exam.

    This block focuses on solely on OSPF. It begins with covering the OSPF enabling moves. The second VoD covers OSPF Network Types. After viewing these first two VoDs, a student should be able to deploy a baseline OSPF configuration for any OSPF implementation. The remaining VoDs cover additional OSPF features such as metric manipulation, Authentication, and Summarization.

    This Block begins with a presentation on issues related to performing basic route redistribution. It then transitions to a presentation covering issues related to advanced route redistribution. It ends with covering different IOS tools that can be used to control route redistribution.
