Cisco 360 CCIE Training and Study Materials

With enroll in the NetMasterClass version of the Cisco 360 CCIE Learning Program, you will receive guidance from your mentor throughout the entire program. You will receive two types of Mentoring: "Asynchronous Mentoring Services" and "Synchronous Mentoring Services".

Asynchronous Mentoring Services

This involves the mentor performing the following via e-mail:

  • Answer questions from the Exercise Workbook that are posted to a discussion forum by student.
  • Provide a monthly status check e-mail on each student in the program. This status check will provide some feedback on each student's progress. In this e-mail the mentor can make recommendations on how to adjust a given student's lesson plan for the upcoming month.
Also, as soon as the students enroll, the mentor will send the student a profile form to learn some initial information about the history of the student. Based upon this information, the mentor can immediately begin to adjust a lesson plan for each student.

Synchronous Mentoring Services

Synchronous mentoring support will focus on providing both pre-assessment and post-assessment activities:

  • For pre-assessment mentoring services, joint issue spotting sessions for 9 of the 10 labs the student attempts. Many students have no idea how to approach a given CCIE level task, much less an entire collection of them presented in a full-length CCIE level lab. During these pre-assessment joint issue spotting sessions, a mentor will provide guidance on how to approach such tasks. For the majority of topics, the mentor will not provide the answers to the tasks covered; however, the mentor will provide expert analysis on how to interpret a given task and eliminate potential options.
  • For post-assessment mentoring services, activities will focus on reviewing a Assessment Lab that has been recently performed. During the post-assessment exam review, a mentor will review a given Assessment Lab with a group of students on a section by section basis. Once again, the mentor will not only review the technological issues encountered in the lab, the mentor will also apply the options analysis problem solving approach when reviewing the correct answers in the lab. During these post-assessment exam review, the mentor will be using the Mentor Guide split screen interface developed specifically for maximizing the learning experience during each exam recap.

From a scheduling standpoint, the students will be assigned specific Assessment Labs to take during a two week period by their mentor. While the students will have flexibility to pick the time and day to perform a given lab, each student will be assigned to perform a given Assessment Lab during a two week window. During these two week windows, pre-scheduled pre-assessment joint issue spotting sessions will be scheduled as well as post-assessment recaps.
